Privacy and Security
Ray of Hope is committed to respecting the privacy of donors. Therefore, we do not sell, trade, or share mailing lists of our donors or participants’ personal information to any third party, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. Your name, address, phone number, or credit card information will not be used outside of our organization. We will only share personal information once a donor has given Ray of Hope specific permission to do so. A donor may choose to remain an anonymous donor at any time. A donor may remove his/her information from our database by contacting us at 845-600-1185 or info@rayofhopeus.org.
Information Collected
High grade encryption and https security protocols are used in collecting personal information. Ray of Hope only collects information volunteered by you during your communication or transaction with us. Examples of information collected include: name, address, phone, email address, and giving history.
How We Use That Information
Ray of Hope uses personal information (a) to acknowledge and provide a tax receipt for donations, (b) to respond to donor inquiries or questions about our services, and (c) as part of Ray of Hope’s internal recordkeeping.
